About Carnotech

Communities shape their own development.

Carnotech Energy Inc. is a project development and service procurement company in Vancouver, working in energy, mining, infrastructure and resource planning across British Columbia. We help communities plan, fund and deliver their projects.

How a project moves

We stay with a project from the first study to the day the community runs it.

Plan

Planning and studies

Community energy plans, energy audits and baselines, coordinating feasibility and resource studies, and plans for community resilience.

Fund

Funding

Technical proposals and funding applications, matched to the programs that fit the project.

Build

Building

Project management and technology procurement, through to turnkey infrastructure such as greenhouses.

Operate

Operating

Energy management systems to ISO 50001: baselines, performance indicators and monitoring.

Empower

Training

Training and capacity building, so the community runs its own energy and its own projects.

How we show a project

A council has to understand a project before it can decide on it. Our live maps show energy, mining, forests and land from official open data, with each source named. A mine model can be placed on a table in augmented reality.

Film

Films of a project on its real ground, for communities, funders and approvals.

Interactive

Terrain and plans people can turn and zoom on screen.

Live data

Maps that refresh from the agencies that publish the data.

Digital twin

A 3D model of a place, joined to its records.

How we work

Communities decide

Projects are planned with the community, and the community shapes its own development.

From start to finish

We develop the proposal, secure the funding, assemble the expert team and see the project through to completion.

Local knowledge in every plan

Plans are built with community leadership, technical staff and local knowledge keepers, and carry local values and traditional knowledge.

Skills stay in the community

Training and Energy Champions build in-house capacity, so the community can run what is built.

Your data stays under your control
